FIELD OF DAISIES | AN OUTFIT OF THE DAY

FIELD OF DAISIES | AN OUTFIT OF THE DAY

Maxi dresses have been my go-to this summer.  Nothing is easier than throwing on a dress, versus having to figure out which pants go with which top or what skirt goes with which blouse.  This dress, in particular, from ASOS has been the most comfortable piece in my closet to wear this summer.  Because of its silky material, it's breathable and comfortable to wear on even the hottest days of the summer.

In addition to the ease of wear, this piece has also been very fun to pair with different accessories and sweaters (for the moments in which I'm indoors, that is).  Today, I decided I wanted to deck out the look with bracelets and necklaces.  My favorite necklace trend of the summer has been a faux leather necklace; they're the perfect layering accessory and allows any outfit to instantly become bohemian.  While you can find this style of necklace at stores such as Free People, where they cost anywhere from $20-30, I decided to save some money and make my own by purchasing the material from Michaels Craft Store for about $3; not only did it look very similar, but I found a great steal to prevent breaking the bank.

Underneath this necklace, I layered my latest favorite: a Giving Key necklace which has the word "CREATE" engraved on it.  For bracelets, I stacked three of my gold favorites right below my elbow, for a more modern-boho vibe.  This look was easy and eye-catching.  It's safe to say that this look is one of my summer favorites and I'll definitely be wearing it again.
