PERSONAL STYLE: WHO CARES IF YOU GET THAT RIGHT-SWIPE OR NOT?
Upon waking up in the morning, I think to myself, "Okay, if I see any hot tamales today, what outfit would cause their jaw to drop to the ground?" Because, of course, what's the point of getting dressed in the morning if you can't find your future husband in the process?
Never once have I woken up and scavenged my wardrobe with the thoughts of anyone else in mind.
I dress for myself.
My high-pony addiction most definitely doesn't bring any boys to the yard and I most certainly don't flip my head upside down and tightly secure my thick hair with a piece of fabric-coated elastic with the intentions of impressing anyone.
While I dress for my own personal enjoyment, my sense of style does cause heads to turn, especially in the style-conservative town in which I reside. But regardless, if the looks I receive are negative or positive, repelling men (or anyone for that matter) should always be done fashionably and reflect your style aesthetic. As long as you're confident in the outfit you're wearing, nothing else matters.
Hit the streets and work it girl.
FAUX FUR IN SUMMER? ABSOLUTELY.
What better way to repel than to wear (faux) fur in the summer? There isn't a better way! Not only will you look fabulous while sweating but you'll also get not-so-discreet side glances while others think, "Doesn't this girl know it's 75 degrees out here?"
I believe that any piece can be worn any time of the year. By layering a faux fur coat over my ensemble, I can ensure that if I go inside anywhere that may be a little cool I won't freeze. No matter the time of year, a faux fur coat will always be chic.

POLKA-DOT TEE UNDER A DRESS? DEFINITELY A HEAD TURNER
Nothing says H-O-T like a little bit of skin showing when wearing a v-neck. So, of course, I covered it by layering with a polka-dotted blouse. Wearing tops underneath dresses is my forte. Not only is this type of layering foolproof, it also adds some interest to the look. And while this look might seem dressy with the blazer and mid-thigh length dress, all-white sneakers are a trendy and comfortable way to dress the look down.
Boys, where you at?
