FLOWY ECCENTRIC | AN OUTFIT OF THE DAY

FLOWY ECCENTRIC | AN OUTFIT OF THE DAY

I am comfort's number one fan.  Since today is a Monday, I thrive after cozy clothing. Though I love to feel like I am in my pajamas, I refuse to look like I am.  So today, I chose a giant sweater top.  I recently purchased this top this weekend in the size XL on purpose.  I loved the way that the hem-line flowed, and it made me feel so cozy.  Since I wanted to add a little bit of girliness, I put on my trapeze slip dress underneath so I would have the ruffles at the hem.

Since the top was a solid blue, I wanted to add a little bit of texture to the top of myself.  I paired my sweater top and slip dress combo with a printed scarf with the same color scheme.  I layered on two of my favorite long chain necklaces with the scarf for additional texture (that is a little surprise!).

To finish off the look, I paired high grey knee socks, and scrunched them down to put with my sparkly gold booties.  I loved adding the pop of gold to this look because it was fun and these shoes are SO comfortable!

This outfit was a whole bunch of comfy!  Even though I felt like I was ready to go to sleep, I still looked presentable and ready for my day!  There are so many ways to make an outfit comfortable yet cute, and my favorite way to do that is dressing up big tops.

XOXO, Amanda
